Holistic Massage Practitioner
250 HoursThe Massage Practitioner program is composed of two modules that can be taken consecutively or can be taken at different times to facilitate completion. Both modules include clinic practice hours to help you integrate the in-class material. This program accommodates the CAMTC current requirements for State of California certification as a Certified Massage Practitioner.
Module A (130 Hours)-You will receive training in Swedish massage and Shiatsu along with accompanying complimentary bodywork techniques. This module focuses on training you to become a professional massage therapist by providing you with the foundation to build on for module B and beyond. This module includes Business and Ethics.
Module B (120 Hours)-You will learn to address clients with low back pain, point and muscular issues from injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, migraine headaches and more. You will also learn effective ways to work "smarter, not harder" and how to provide clients relief from long-term pain and release of extended holding patterns. Additional techniques covered are: Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, Trigger Point and others.

Duration
Approximately 10-weeks depending upon whether or not you are taking Module A and B back-to-back.
