Certified Massage Therapist & Certified Deep Tissue Practitioner "Combo"
254 Continuing Education Hour Program
254 Hours - Approximately 12 weeks
This program is a combination of our first and second level programs.
Our first level course "Certified Massage Therapist", involves comprehensive training in Swedish massage and other complimentary bodywork techniques.
This course of study uses demonstration and hands-on instructional labs – focusing on proper body mechanics. It features a series of techniques that promote blood and oxygen circulation throughout the body, promoting relaxation and circulation. The program will guide you towards becoming a professional massage therapist.
Our second level program "Certified Deep Tissue Practitioner", focuses on working deeper into the muscular system of the body.
This course of study uses demonstration and hands-on instructional labs – focusing on proper body mechanics. These deep tissue techniques will help you aid your clients with specific problems and special needs.
You will learn how to address clients with low back pain, joint and muscular issues from injuries, carpel tunnel syndrome, migraine headaches and much more.
You will learn a more effective way to work “Smarter Not Harder” using proper body mechanics that pertain to the deeper bodywork techniques and how to provide your client with relief from long-term pain and possible release of long time holding patterns.
Certified Massage Therapist/Certified Deep Tissue Practitioner Programs.
Most of our classes require a minimum number of registered students in order to be held - we try to allow a two week advance notice when having to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment. Our school is approved for VA Benefits. We are also an approved Sacramento Employment and Training Agency Local Training Provider (SETA http://www.seta.net/jobseeker_careercenter.html).
