In this class we explore the relationship between the mind and body. Lecture lays the foundation for how the masters in the field have studied and proved the relationship exists. Come understand how John Upledger, DO, Candace Pert PhD. Yogis, and Ayurvedic Medicine all weave a thread in how the mind body relate to one another. A Jungian psychological view is also brought in to deepen our understanding. This class is for those interested in why the body reacts the way it does to trauma and how we, as body-workers’, can be supportive in healing at a deeper level. Lecture, table time and role-playing support the learning process.
