This system of Reiki was developed by a Japanese man named Mikao Usui in the early 1900's. Rei means "universal" and Ki is "energy." Reiki is also translated as the "universal Life force" and thought to be beneficial for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of life. During this class you will learn the history and principles of Reiki, how to conduct treatments on yourself and others. You will also receive your first attunement to facilitate healing on a physical level.
