Traditional Thai Massage (Nuad Bo Rarn) has been taught and practiced in Thailand for 2,500 years, influenced by both Ayurvedic/Yogic medicine and Buddhism. Thai Massage has a unique character that is at once relaxing and invigorating. This work blends gentle rocking rhythmic Acupressure and Yoga-like stretching which deeply opens, relaxes, and revitalizes the entire body. It is unmatched in its ability to open the joints and increase range of motion and flexibility. In Level I, the focus will be on developing techniques in the supine and some seated positions. In Level II, we focus on prone and side-lying techniques, along with more advanced stretches. This is part of the HMT 500 hour program and can also be taken as a stand-alone workshop.
